Supplier Responsibilities
1. Product Listings and Accuracy
Suppliers are solely responsible for ensuring that all product descriptions, images, prices, and availability status provided on Trade Hub Direct are accurate and up to date. Any failure to update information that results in incorrect sales, disputes, or customer dissatisfaction will be the sole responsibility of the supplier.
2. Order Fulfilment & Delivery
- Suppliers are responsible for fulfilling orders placed through the Trade Hub Direct platform in a timely and professional manner.
- Delivery times and shipping costs must be clearly specified.
- Suppliers must comply with all relevant consumer protection and distance selling regulations, including but not limited to The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and The Sale of Goods Act 1979.
- Any disputes regarding delivery (including non-delivery, late delivery, or damaged goods) must be handled directly by the supplier.
3. Compliance with UK Laws
Suppliers must ensure that all products comply with UK laws, safety standards, and any applicable industry regulations. Trade Hub Direct will not be liable for any legal consequences arising from a supplier’s failure to comply with such regulations.
4. Dispute Resolution with Customers
In the event of a dispute regarding a transaction, suppliers are responsible for resolving issues directly with the customer. If a resolution cannot be reached, Trade Hub Direct reserves the right to suspend or remove a supplier’s account if complaints are consistently raised.
Prohibited Use
You may not use the Website for any of the following purposes:
- In any way which causes, or may cause, damage to the Website or interferes with another user’s enjoyment of the Website.
- In any way that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
- Uploading viruses, malware, or any malicious software.
Registration and Subscriptions
- Suppliers and tradespeople must provide accurate registration details and inform us of any changes.
- Subscription fees, if applicable, must be paid in accordance with the terms outlined at the time of registration.
Trade Hub Direct’s Role and Limitations of Liability
Trade Hub Direct acts solely as a marketplace platform and does not manufacture, store, or ship products.
We do not:
- Guarantee the availability, quality, or safety of any product listed by a supplier.
- Bear responsibility for disputes between suppliers and tradespeople.
- Provide warranties for any goods sold through the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRADE HUB DIRECT LTD excludes liability for:
- Loss of business, profits, or revenue arising from the use of the platform.
- Any indirect or consequential damages.
- Product defects, delays, or supplier misrepresentation.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under UK law.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
- If any dispute arises, the parties agree to first attempt mediation before taking legal action.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of England and Wales.
- Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Trade Hub Direct reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing the updated terms.
